We will normally ask for a £20 non-refundable deposit for single night reservations.

For longer term reservations we would appreciate a deposit of £50  or equivalent to the first night (in unhappy event of cancellation however this will normally be refunded net of the £20 element or held in credit for future reservations).  Payment of deposits can be made by cash, cheque, bank transfer or debit /credit card.  There is no supplement charge on these card payments or on prepaymenst. However, sadly but in keeping with most travel and accommodation providers, we have to impose a 3% surcharge on bill settlements by credit card to compensate towards high banking charges.  There is however no charge on debit card or other transactions.

Cancellations will be accepted up to 48 hours prior to arrival less the £20 deposit, if appropriate. 

For same day cancellations and no-shows a first night charge will apply.

We will happily endeavour to handle any alteration to bookings (e.g. changes in numbers, dates. timings, etc) understandably subject to availability. For postponements deposits will normally be honoured unless lastminute and room not re-let.

Our basic approach to bookings was to accept them in good faith but it is sad reality that even some people who have phoned and said words to effect: "we will be with you in ten minutes and yes this is a definate booking" are capable of changing their minds and just assume we are a charity!   We also get people who phone up and advise they would like to make a definate booking but will have to check with their partner and will phone back with deposit details - thanks goodness we don't hold our breath waiting!  We believe we are offering good value, clean & comfortable accommodation at a reasonable rate which, from experience, happily most guests agree with.  If however you have any concerns during your visit do please let us know.

Also if you do want to change bookings please let us know as soon as you do.

Check-in Times are 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. but, within reason, we are happy to accommodate arrivals at any other times by prior arrangement.

Check-out is by 1030 a.m. but we are happy to hold luggage for later collection.
